Memorial Day Services
Stratford Chamber of Commerce holds a memorial service every year in the Stratford Cemetery. The 2007 service will be held on May 28th and the time will be announced soon.
Area Families join us for coffee and other goodies to honor our brave men and women serving in the United States Military
We have our flag brought in by horseback and patriotic music is performed by our local talents. We will post more information closer to the event.

Stratford Jamboree, Reunion, Parade & Ranch Rodeo
Stratford High School, Country Club and Rodeo Grounds
Come join the city of Stratford and help celebrate our Stratford Jamboree weekend July 27 th -29 th . This weekend is packed full of events that everyone can enjoy. We host the Junior Ranch Rodeo, Lion's Club BBQ lunch at Pendleton Park and our Jamboree Parade on Saturday morning. Everyone is encouraged to put a float or vehicle in the parade. Prizes will be awarded in all categories. This weekend is also the Stratford-Ex High School reunion.
Christmas Night Parade
Every year, Stratford Chamber of Commerce hosts a Christmas parade. This year's parade will be on November 29th at 6 or as soon as it gets dark. Participants are encouraged to light up their floats or vehicles to "Light the path for Santa" Local merchants stay open a little later and welcome visitors in for hot cocoa or cider and a chance to look around for gift ideas. Also, rumor has it, our jolly friend from the North Pole and his wife will be at the Imagination Station to take requests for Christmas.

Annual Arts & Crafts Bazaar
Stratford Chamber of Commerce hosted an Arts & Crafts Bazaar in September, at the County Barn. Many of our local artists and crafters were excited to have an opportunity to show off their hard work. We even had some vendors from other areas in attendance. This year's event was such a success; the Chamber has elected to make this an annual event. We look forward to the upcoming years and future Arts & Crafts Bazaars. Click here for this year's photos.
Whips 'N Wheels Traditional Day of Driving
Each September Whips-n-Wheels Driving Club of the Texas Panhandle hosts a Sporting Day of Traditional Driving. This event gathers horses, ponies, mules and Draft horses with their drivers, grooms and carriages. It is a wonderful opportunity to see lovely carriages and horses reviving the days of old in and around Stratford, Texas.
